ATHERTON SUMMER COTTAGE
This guest cottage was developed as a fun counterpoint to the main home situated across an expansive lawn. A series of trellises, gates and a workshop complete the ensemble of buildings on this property of mature redwood trees in Atherton, California. The guest cottage uses custom designed victorian inspired trim and decorative end gables to add a sense of fun to this cheerfully bright home. The pool area is wrapped with a home gym, table tennis porch, and snack tower, complete with cast iron spiral stair to an overlook room for teens.
